since the spring of 2004 i have been working with web designer/graphic artist James Szuszkiewicz to digitally transform material from my growing intermedia archive into a series of new works — collaborations as this series is called — highlights the collective nature and eclectic range of creative activity engendered by intermedia art practice in the 1950's and 1960's in vancouver

an intermedia intervention created by terry loychuk — these four 19 by 25 inch signs were screen printed in an edition of 250 each — terry and his team installed the signs in one evening in totem formations on poles and hoarding throughout downtown vancouver

sound gallery: intersection no.5 is a collage which reflects the types of collaboration between artists of different disciplines which regularly occurred at the sound gallery, 1965-1966.
this collage combines:

film projections composed of four sam perry film clips produced shortly before the artists death in 1966.

sound loop of the al neil trio including neil, simpson and anstey, recorded at a sound gallery performance in 1965.
