Art Gallery puts on two special shows

The Vancouver Art Gallery is putting on two multi-media events this week in conjunction with Johnny Neon's Chromatic Steps which are on exhibition there this month.

The Steps, designed as a non-inteloectual physical "instant music" experience for the participator and "instant theater" for the spectator, lend themselves to the creative multi-media extensions conceived by two local artists co-ordinators, Al Neil and Helen Goodwin.

Al Neil and his company, which includes Gregg Simpson and special guest star Seamus Finn, will perform "39 Wonderful Years in Show Business," tonight at 8 and Helen Goodwin's group "The The Co" will present their performance Thursday night.
