His father was born in Kingston, Ontario nad his mother was born "in or near" St. Johns, Newfoundland. He was single and has been in BC for 45yearsin 1955.

There is no mention of a wife but the record states he is a widower. Futher searching the BC online death records for the name Thate, there was a son that passed away in 1992 and it lists Henry John being the Father and a Barbara Seidl. Now we know the name of his wife. Barbara died in 1947.

So I went onto Ancestry and entered the name OOley and a marriage came up for a Moses Olley and a Sarah Caroline White. So now we know her maiden name. On Ancesry there is a family tree for Moses. Looks like he was married a couple of times before Caroline became his wife. According to the 1931 Canadian census they were living in Edmonton Alberta. Moses passed in 1939.
