She was born in Palmerston, Ontario on 22 March 1869. Her Father was Thomas McDowell and her Mother was Sarah Thompson. She was married to a Corey Allen Dow in Fort Steele, BC on 22 July 1888. Corey died in Penticton on 15 April 1943.
