Dear Sir or Madame.
Oscar Engan was the brother of my great grandfather. He left Norway in 1922, and the family understands that he died in 1946 and was buried at Woodlands. We would like to know in there exists any picture(s) of his tombstone.
Many thanks in advance.
Wow, I just came across your page and I'd like to thank you so much for sharing! I am the 3rd Great Granddaughter of Alfred McNeill and Susan Jane George. Susan Jane and William Smith were my Great-Great grandparents and Katherine Smith was my Great-Grandmother. I was about 9 years old when Katherine passed away in the 80's, so I didn't really get to know her well. I'm 43 now and I'm very interested in genealogy.
By chance, have you found out any more details of Susan Jane George, like where she was born? Thanks again, this is great info!

I was told some time ago that Peter's headstone was found close to the base of a tree. It is such a sad story, many members of his family suffered from Huntington's. Peter, you have not been forgotten.
Hi Lisa. The information you have provided is so interesting. I have been researching Alexander Vance for a number of years trying to understand his connection to McNeill and how he found his way to Vernon in the 1860s. Do you have any other info that led you to believe they connected in Colville? Searching through HBC account books in Kamloops last week I found Alfred McNeill had been employed as a packer for the company in 1863. I'd love to connect if you have found any more clues on the links between these two men. Thanks
This will be so nice and interesting stuff for my uncle to get. I will share with him after mine boston to niagara falls trip and will get his views about this as well.
Hello,
I understood that the cemetery was destroyed, but that each name of the deceased was inscribed on plates. Someone could have made a photo, plate or figure the name of my great uncle Emanuel SIERRE, and perhaps the entry of all these names, probably the name of the cemetery
It would make me happy
Thank you
Very cordially
