My work at the PNE has been greatly facilitated by the support and co-operation of many people. I would like to thank Annette Antoniak, General Manager and CEO of the Pacific National Exhibition, for granting me access to the fairgrounds and expressing interest and support for the project since its inception in 1997. Thanks also to Laura Ballance, PNE Media Relations, for her help in making arrangements for my daily visits.

And finally, I would like to express my appreciation to all of the people who allowed me to photograph them, and took the time to talk to me about their lives.
